Good news: I've written tests that should give me adequate coverage for working with the anaglyph sketch stuff.

Bad news: I've broken my scipy install.

Neutral news: I haven't tried to sketch out the groupings of the calendars yet, but I have enough information that I should be able to accomplish something, let's say, after I publish this.

Confusing news: wait, scipy still works, I just can't reinstall it? This seems precarious, and I'll be very happy when it gets a binary release I can just use. All the same, I'm apparently capable of limping along like this; I just probably need to avoid installing any new packages until October.

Anyway, I'm going to start winding down now, so I don't psych myself into staying up a half hour late again.
