Surcomplex Numbers 2026-07-26

Well, I lost track of time again, and I don't have any thoughts on code yet, but something did occur to me to think about.

Ordinary nimbers are effectively "self-negative", but the current idea I have for surcomplex nimbers does something kind of weird, where nimbers still sum with themselves to 0, but/therefore their negative is just 0, instead of themselves. If I want to try to preserve * - * = 0, then I think I need to find a different relation for determining equality. I think the relation would have to be three-value, and take three arguments, which must be sets.

That said, I can actually figure out how to work with the binary version, so I should cut my teeth on that for a bit, I guess. For now, once again I need to sleep.

Good night.
