Reading Retrospective 2018-09-24

In this post:

Over the past week, I accomplished my overall goal, so that's good.

I mentioned a lot of the stuff that's going to come up in this post during last week, but I'm putting it here anyway.

I ended up following a more aggressive schedule for reading than I originally intended, which ended up working out well because it was completely achievable.

The point of all of this was to read the latest draft of the beginning of my wife's novel, and as I said, I did that. The next logical thing to do is obvious, since there are, of course, more books to look at. I don't know if or when I'm up for that, though... One possibility is, something we discussed but didn't follow up on, was having some kind of soundtrack for me to put on while reading the drafts. That sounds like it could make things a bit better.

Either way, I did it. It's been done. I hope I don't need to use a weekly project for it if I do this again, because I think my posts this week were... underwhelming. But whatever, it's done. It's done.

Next week, I'm going to take a different tack on Conworld Codex.
