Three Dollar Quill

I'm futzing around with my process a bit, so because there's that element of chaos, I'm writing up what's happening, since I'm not working on my projects so I can work more on my projects later.

I mentioned yesterday that I was thinking of trying to bring back my old flow, years ago, of having a dedicated day for writing about each project. Getting that working involved some trello boards that I don't seem to be able to find, so I needed to put together something kanban-esque. I ended up trying a few things, including trello again, but I found myself unhappy with the things I was trying. I wanted something I could use on my laptop and on my various mobile devices, and ideally offline with the ability to work with files under an arbitrary path, so I could sync it between devices with my NAS. I was having trouble finding something that ticked all, or even some of those boxes, until I remembered/realized, that Obsidian, which I'm using like that already, has plugins. So, I got set up with what I think is the most popular kanban plugin, which doesn't have all of the functionality of a dedicated app, but it looks like I can just kind of compose it together with Obsidian's own features and other plugins.

So, I'm filling in kanban boards in Obsidian, and I don't have to think about usage limits or synching beyond what I'm already doing.

Anyway, nothing else to do tonight. I'd better try to get some actual good sleep, as I haven't been doing well on that front.
