I just filed a bug that I'm not confident will get fixed—

But I figured I'd at least ask.

That said, now that I've thought about it some more, there may be an alternative on my end to changing the behavior. If I can reach inside...

Yes, it does appear that nearly all of the information I need is still available, and I "just" need to hardcode the remainder. I think this will end up being "switch to the old type inference, get information about what the signature 'should' look like, and add that information in".

We'll see what that ends up being like later. For now, I need to get to bed.
