Thermostat works. So nice. It still took a while to get to working, though, so we were out of the apartment, and I ended up really tired.
I took some notes on what tests I want to write, and then realized that the way I'm planning to build identifiers sure seems like it's going to cause complexity issues. So I ran some highly synthetic benchmarks (very loosely speaking, calling these benchmarks), and concluded that the time complexity is close enough to linear, so, it's probably fine? That said, the more I think about it, the more promising ideas I have. I'm very excited to work on this now that I'm not living in a sauna, but first I need to get a good night's sleep.
Good night.
