Three Dollar Quill

I just switched on the usage of the Failure feature, and it was certainly... an experience. I ended up pulling out a lot of # type: ignores, some of them seemingly for a bug in Mypy, which I'm going to have to figure out how to minimize.

So:

• Isolate Mypy bug.
• Create DSL classes to hopefully make imports less obnoxious in tests.
• Write more tests.

Probably in that order.
