All right, here's how things are: the prototype code for generating tables in Wikidot syntax works fine. As does the base conversion code. The way I want to actually use this is to set aside pages just for tables, and use the include directive to put them into the actual "article" pages. This way I can edit the table without worrying about accidentally deleting part of the page, for example.

I want to wait a little before putting this stuff together; maybe work on it over the weekend. Until then, I'll try to get back to other projects. Perhaps make progress on Impliciula or remember what I was doing to MOTR. For now, I need to wind down.
