Okay, I need to let the code base sit, at least for tonight. I believe I've worked through all of the refactors I'm going to manage for now, and laid the groundwork for the next phase of all of this, implementing type operators.

After that, I can either rush into adding row polymorphism, or I can focus on raising the coverage, which would be the responsible course of action.
