Except for naming the class. The point of this class is to replace pairs of variables. One variable is a label that is used in the construction of the other, a command part. When the command part has been used in a command, and that command has been converted into a matrix, the label can be used to retrieve an input artifact from the matrix. This is a key operation in chaining commands together.
