Well, I started renaming things, and took a while to stop, and shockingly, it all merged totally cleanly to the future topic. I think at this point, the next step, at least in the CLI wrappers, is to take some time away from them, and come back in a few days with fresh eyes to see what looks not-quite-right now.

While I'm looking elsewhere, I notice some code duplication that can be trivially removed, so I do so, and ratchet up the coverage a little bit more in the process.

I'm not sure what to work on next, and I'm getting too tired to work it out, so let's wrap things up here.
