I'm... really not sure if I want to keep on going down this road. This is Eliot, which is meant for making it easier to analyze complex systems at scale. I'm trying to generate human-readable summaries of relatively simple workflows. Certain... tensions... between these goals are manifesting.

In light of that, I'm kind of leaning towards rolling my own system for dice logging, but maybe I'll reconsider by the next time I think about this.
