Hm. I spent a few hours moving code around trying to make things "more readable", and I think I made some improvements to start with, but now it's just kind of, like, sloshing around?

Earlier I was looking for some kind of set of guidelines for when to use stuff like |> and @@, and I didn't have any luck, but now I feel like I really need some guidelines like that, because it's all just getting kind of weird now.

Anyway, it's way late, so I'm getting to bed finally.
