Three Dollar Quill

All right, I pushed up test coverage on MOTR a little bit. I added some error path tests, and improved the errors they're looking for. I deleted some functions that weren't accomplishing anything. It shouldn't be hard to put them back if I discover I need them, but I don't think I'll need them.

I didn't get much done today because of travel; we'll see how I do in the next few days, but I hope to cut down on the coverage misses, then work on renaming and reorganizing, then rework some of the high-level usages, and expand the highest-level wrappers until it's ready for a release.

I don't know how much of that I can get down in the next week, or in the next month. I'm just going to have to take it a bit at a time.
